History
1921
Creation of the Castiglione Aquaculture and Fishing Station.
1964
The Castiglione and Beni Saf stations were established as an Institute under the name of the Scientific and Technical Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture ISTPA under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture.
1968
ISTPA is attached to the Ministry of State in charge of transport, Directorate of the Merchant Navy, Fisheries and Ports.
1976
ISTPA is attached to the Maritime Higher Institute (ISM).
1981
Creation of the Study Centre for Applied Research and Documentation for Fisheries and Aquaculture (CERP) (under the supervision of the Ministry of Transport, transferred to the Ministry of Hydraulics, Forests and Fisheries and then attached to the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries).
1990
The CERP is attached to the Institute of the National Marine Science and Coastal Management Institute (ISMAL)) under the Ministry of Higher Education.
1993
Creation of the National Centre for Fisheries and Aquaculture Studies and Documentation (CNDPA) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
1999
The CNDPA comes under the Ministry of Fisheries and Fishery Resources (MPRH).
2008
The CNDPA was restructured as a public scientific and technological establishment (EPST) by executive decree n° 08-128 of 24 Rabie Etahani 1429 corresponding to 30 April 2008 under the supervision of the Ministry of Fisheries and Fishery Resources (MPRH).
2015
The CNRDPA is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries.
2019
The CNRDPA is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Fisheries and Fishery Productions
